The Ivy Equity Project is a leading training consultancy dedicated to empowering individuals and organizations with the knowledge and skills needed to improve organizational culture and create a more equitable and inclusive society. Our passion for equality and social equity drives us to deliver transformative learning experiences that promote self-reflection and drive real change.
We have developed and tested a suite of effective training tools that are rooted in experiential learning, creating unique environment to communicate the cancerous impact of various forms of discrimination. Our training tools are grounded in the principles of privacy, safety, and mutual respect to ensure that all participants feel safe and their perspectives are valued.
Our trainings can be delivered by our experienced team, or licensed for incorporation into any broader diversity, equity, and inclusion curriculum.
Inspired by a Tragic History
The Lynching of L. Q. Ivy
The Ivy Equity Project was founded on a tragic legacy of experiencing and fighting racism. In 1925, L. Q. Ivy, the founder's great-cousin, was brutally tortured and lynched in Northeast Mississippi by an angry mob of white townsfolk. IEP strives to honor L. Q. Ivy's life and all the lives of those who have suffered from racism and bigotry.
